I’m so happy to be back on Blog 108! Last time I was here I got the chance to talk about one of my favourite topics: how to develop mindfulness in our overwhelming, material world (you can find those posts here and here).
Today I get to talk about another one of my fave things: smoothie bowls! I am obsessed with all of the amazing smoothie bowls floating around Instagra, and am especially in love with Taline Gabriel’s feed- it’s unreal!! So I thought it’d be fun to make a bowl inspired by her bowls.
This was soo fun to make, and actually doesn’t take much time at all- and it’s delicious! So win, win, win. Hope you love it as much as I do. ☺
BASE
2 frozen bananas
1 cup raspberries
1 tbsp peanut butter
1 tbsp cacao powder
½ cup nut milk (I use cashew milk)
TOPPINGS
Shredded coconut
Blueberries
Frozen raspberries
Cacao nibs
Chia seeds
Mangos (cut into star shapes using a cookie cutter)
Blend up the smoothie bowl based, pour into a bowl and then top with your toppings of choice! The ones I used are listed above, but you can use whatever you’d like!
